We at kanallje press are avid readers who want to read original, thrilling, character-driven, emotional stories featuring male characters.

But we are jaded.

We've already been through all the classics of the genre, from Mary Renault's "The Persian Boy" to Kushner's "Swordspoint", from Diana Gabaldon to C.J. Cherryh to Tanya Huff. We don't have to tell you how hard it is to find a good story that leaves you breathless.

So this magazine simply was necessary.
